[Coincidence ?] 3 highest densities of Tritium are “exactly 1,200,000 Bq/m3” in groundwater bypass

Following up this article.. Fukushima fishery cooperative gave Tepco the approval to discharge bypassed groundwater to the sea [URL]


The 3 highest readings of Tritium density are exactly 1,200,000 Bq/m3 in the bypassed groundwater.


Tepco is starting to prepare to discharge the bypassed groundwater to the sea. The bypassed water will not be filtered.

From Tepco’s data, relatively high level of Tritium has been detected in one of the groundwater bypass wells, which is the closest to the tank that experienced 300m3 leakage last summer.

They measured the highest readings of Tritium density in this bypass well 3 times in March (3/4, 3/11, 3/25). However these readings are exactly 1,200,000 Bq/m3, it has never gone higher than 1,200,000 Bq/m3.


It is not known for how much of possibility it can be exactly 1,200,000 Bq/m3 three times a month. Tepco hasn’t made any explanation about the data.

Downplay it in the beginning, and quietly add more information so nobody notices it. All for not letting the cattle escape. This is their strategy.

Les 3 records de radioactivité au tritium sont exactement de 1 200 000 (1,2 millions de) Bq/m³ dans les eaux souterraines de la dérivation.

Tepco commence la préparation du déversement en mer des eaux de la dérivation. Ces eaux ne seront pas filtrées.
Selon les données de Tepco, des niveaux relativement élevés de tritium ont été relevés dans l’un des puits de la dérivation, celui qui est le plus près de la citerne qui a connu la fuite des 300 m³ de l’été dernier.
Ils ont relevé ce record de radioactivité en tritium dans ce puits trois fois en mars dernier (les 4, 11 et 25 mars). Néanmoins, ces relevés sont exactement de 1 200 000 Bq/m³, ça n’a jamais dépassé 1 200 000 Bq/m³.

On ne connaît pas la probabilité d’avoir exactement 1,2 millions de Bq/m³ trois fois de suite le même mois. Tepco n’a donné aucune explication sur ces données.

Le minimiser au début et ajouter tranquillement de nouvelles information pour que personne ne le remarque. Tout pour que le troupeau ne s’échappe pas. C’est leur stratégie.

    Scientific Data has scatter. We expect it.

    For 1.20^6 Bq/m3 we would expect the last two digits to vary from 1.15 to 1.25 as a combination of meter, temperature, density, battery life, operator anomalies and sampling method variations.

    Fraud is more often exact than science.

    The Japan official Tritiated water data is fraud.

        Means the actual figure is between: 1,199,995 Bq/m3″

        Which is preposterous.

        Japan, the nation is LYING, and they are lying poorly and ineptly.

            Japan and their bankrupt alter-ego TEPCO, are LYING by commission and omission. The latter is Also Known As (AKA) exclusionary detailing.

          2. 1 part in 1.000.000 in this case is less than trivial.

            1 M^3 / 1.000.000 = 1 mL

            At that very reasonable testing volume, you could get statistically valid ppm counts with a stopwatch.

  2. More lying and coverup by the Japanese Government

    The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station tritiated water is a fission product. The groundwater bypass system is UPSTREAM of the Station.

    The groundwater, upstream of the plant contains tritium contamination that happened downstream. This, almost certainly means that the Ebb and Flow of the Ocean Tides, and the absence of an impermeable layer have resulted in significant upstream contamination of the regional groundwater table.

    We would also expect significant levels of Strontium-90 in this tritiated water. SR-90 does not readily bind to soil and rock, to the degree that is characteristic of Cs-134 and Cs-137. The bypass water should be regularly and publicly tested for the full complement of Fukushima radioactive contaminants.

    TEPCO is a bankrupt, ward of the Japan Nation. The Japanese Government is OFFICIALLY and DELIBERATELY perpetrating a continuing FRAUD on neighboring nations and the local Nipponese fishermen.

    There is, almost certainly, Strontium-90 in that bypass water. Japan knows it and they are not disclosing the test results to the world. Japan is accelerating their Long Term damage to the Pacific Fishery.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
