2,900 MBq/km2 of Cesium-134/137 still fall down in Fukushima plant area monthly

Still 2,900 MBq/Km2 of Cesium-134/137 fall down monthly in Fukushima plant area.

It’s been nearly 3 years since 311, but still high level of radioactive plume is falling around the plant.

The sampling date was from 12/25/2013 to 2/3/2014. Cs-134 density was 800 MBq/km2, Cs-137 density was 2,100 MBq/km2.

This is nearly 31 times much as fallout level in Fukushima Daini. The significant difference shows Fukushima plant is still emitting the high level of radioactive plume to the environment.

Downplay it in the beginning, and quietly add more information so nobody notices it. All for not letting the cattle escape. This is their strategy.

  1. And then this jumped out… first the follow up dates..are not clear.just the numbres..and then
“Those who require 6- or 12-month follow-up (provided by health insurance), and those beyond the specified level of A2” –so the government is only doing ONE test examinatioh only if the victim DOES NOT HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE??? The government sounds like they are only covering one test..one exam..good luck if you have health insurance. How soon do the insurance companies start dropping families in Fukushima or other exposed areas for thyroid issues?

So from all this..and I am exptrapolating here..cesium-radioactive iodine…has heavily radiated the children in the area..its ongoing..and the government is only doing ONE test of the approx 300,000 children THEY deem ‘exposed.’ There for..if they dont test after all the children are scanned..the rate is 0.0 percent for new cases..or worsening cases..

what does cesium do to children..??? and adults..??? Just saying..

  2. Maybe better said, the prefecture is doing one exam for all ‘deemed’ exposed children, the 300,000. Then if they find you are greater than A2 OR have health insurance..you can get more testing in 6 to12 months..GADS…what if they miss the size of the cysts..or the numbers. This cancer is showing up BEFORE the “touted” 5 years timeframe when Russia started counting cancers in Chernobyl. Based on that date, Japan is saying you cant get cancer before..5 yrs..a very deadly assumption. Its happening..

Those approx 1500 “cases” in 300,000 tested..200 cases in a 1000 children tested..Japan needs to start a major test/scan of all Japan…mind boggling.

From our experience with our daughter..signs were tiredness/fatique, weight gain/obesity (she gained 100 lbs..with doctor just telling her to stop eating so much), sleeping all the time, stomach not working, skin dry and flaky/itchy…and throat swollen on the right side..you could SEE the lump…Doctor kept giving her more thryoid meds..finally did a scan under protest..and she had/has stage II/III cancer. Parents should watch for the signs..and a lump..it is deadly..unless proved with needle biopsy to be negative..

  3. Debris

Some of this debris came down from the hills. The rest has Japanese markings. It appears that the first wave of 311 Tsunami Debris may have arrived on the Left Coast.

Tsunami Debris Information – Washington Establishes Tsunami Debris Line:

South Bend, Washington – Washington State Department of Ecology today announced a new toll-free reporting and information line for citizens who spot possible tsunami debris on Washington State beaches.

People who call 1-855-WACOAST (1-855-922-6278) can:

Report oil and hazardous items to the National Response Center and Washington Department of Ecology by pressing “1”.
Report large floating debris items that might pose a boating or navigation hazard by pressing “2”.

Get instructions for reporting debris that is not large or hazardous.

  5. Caution: State Propaganda notwithstanding, SOME of this debris is DEADLY radioactive:

    Oregon Tsunami Debris Line Established

Gov. John Kitzhaber announced Thursday that people will be able to call 211 to report tsunami debris. Beginning Friday, the hotline will be staffed during business hours and will take recorded messages at other times.

A network of 32 drop-off sites on the Oregon coast are now ready to receive beach debris washing ashore from the tsunami that struck Japan in March 2011. The drop-off sites are free and are a combination of state parks and independent recycling and transfer stations located in every county Visitors and residents can call 211 (or 1-800-SAFENET) to report tsunami debris they see on the beach.

    1. Mr Bill Duff states with certainty that “SOME of this debris is DEADLY radioactive”. But Mr Bill Duff does not know this, since he doesn’t own a detector, and is, in fact, speculating wildly.

  6. AVOID this kind of debris

(UPDATED) (Now They Tell Us) Highly Radioactive Pieces Found in Naraha-Machi in June/July 2013 Came from #Fukushima I NPP, TEPCO Now Says

(UPDATE-2) Of all news outlets, it was Yomiuri who reported the news (two days late) and mentioned the last remaining potential route for the debris pieces – Reactor 3 explosion. From Yomiuri Shinbun (2/24/2014):

    原子炉建屋の水素爆発で飛び散ったのか、海から流されてきたのかなど、理由は不明という。

The reason [why the debris pieces were there] is unknown; they could have been scattered by the hydrogen explosion in the reactor building, or they could have come from the ocean.

(UPDATE 2/13/2014) The only news I’ve found so far about these debris pieces in Naraha-machi is from FNN local Fukushima news. Even that news hides the fact that the radioactivity of maximum 2.92 million becquerels of radioactive cesium IS PER 0.4 GRAM SAMPLE.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
