In order to stop the contaminated groundwater flowing to the sea, Tepco is building the impervious wall underground.
At the moment of 7/27/2013, 58% of the wall is completed. Tepco plans to have it completed by 8/10/2013.
On 7/29/2013, Tepco released the report of the groundwater level and sea water level.
The data shows the groundwater level of the boring No.1 is increasing since they started the construction on 7/8/2013.
The boring No.1 is surrounded by the wall, stopped groundwater is accumulated in the area. Tepco hasn’t announced how they are going to treat the retained water.

Le niveau des eaux souterraines monte à cause du mur étanche

Tepco construit un mur souterrain étanche pour empêcher les eaux souterraines extrêmement radioactives de s’écouler en mer.
Au 27 juillet 2013, 58% du mur est construit. Tepco prévoie de le terminer pour le 10 août 2013.
Le 29 juillet 2013, Tepco publie un rapport sur les niveaux des eaux souterraines et de la mer.
Les données montrent que le niveau des eaux souterraines du forage n°1 monte depuis qu’ils ont commencé la construction le 8 juillet 2013.
Le forage n°1 est entouré par le mur, les eaux bloquées s’accumulent dans cette zone. Tepco n’a pas annoncé comment ils allaient traiter les eaux bloquées.
