JP Gov gave Tepco the approval for reactor4 pool fuel removal

Following up this article.. JP Gov hasn’t given Tepco the approval to remove fuel from reactor4 pool [URL]

NRA (Nuclear Regulation Authority) published the approval on 11/12/2013 according to Tepco. The approval is to use the crane of reactor4 pool.

The safety inspection of the removal process will be started from tomorrow. Tepco plans to start the fuel removal after mid-November.

I reject the international mass media to read this site without taking a contact with me.I know some of the mass media corporations read Fukushima Diary to understand the trend so they know when to report about Fukushima as if they were independently following it for a long time.
In short, they make you individual readers pay for this site while they pay nothing, and when they publish the “authorized news”, you pay for the “secondhand news”, which is nothing new for us.
This site is free for the individual readers, but not for corporations.In the world, this site is nearly the only source about Fukushima. I came here alone without any supporting organizations, background or anything. I’m not pleased to be exploited by the corporations that didn’t even properly report about Fukushima when 311 took place.

I demand them to take a contact with me BEFORE reading this site whatever the purpose is.

La NRA (Nuclear Regulation Authority) publie l’approbation ce 12 novembre 2013 selon Tepco. L’accord concerne l’utilisation de la grue de la piscine du réacteur 4.

L’inspection de sécurité sur le processus de retrait commence demain. Tepco prévoie d’enlever les premiers combustibles après la mi-novembre.

J’interdis à la grande presse internationale de lire et d’utiliser ce site sans préalablement prendre contact avec moi. Je sais que certaines grandes sociétés de presse lisent le Fukushima Diary pour comprendre la tendance et trouver quand rendre compte de la situation de Fukushima comme s’ils la suivaient indépendamment depuis longtemps.
En résumé, ils vous font payer à vous, simples lecteurs, ce qu’ils prennent gratuitement dans ce site et lorsqu’ils publient des “nouvelles de première main” vous payez pour des “nouvelles resucées”, qui n’ont rien de nouveau pour nous.
Ce site est gratuit pour les lecteurs individuels, pas pour les sociétés. Ce site est pratiquement la seule source au monde sur Fukushima. Je viens ici seul sans aucun soutien d’organisation quelconque, ni références, ni rien. Je n’apprécie pas de me faire exploiter par ces sociétés qui n’ont même pas été foutues de relater correctement ce qui se passait à Fukushima quand a eu lieu le mois de mars 2011.

Je leur demande de prendre contact avec moi AVANT de lire ce site dans quelque but que ce soit.

  1. So, all they have to do is figure out how to stick an ‘L-shaped’, BENT fuel assembly of about 55 Fuel Rods, into the transport cask. Or, perhaps TEPCO will save that assembly for later.

    According to Ex-SKF, Yahoo and Reuters …

    Nov. 13, 2013: According to TEPCO, one of the damaged fuel assemblies is bent at a 90-degree angle [literal meaning: bent in the shape of a Japanese character “く”; actual angle could be less]. It was bent 25 years ago when a mistake occurred in handling the fuel.

  2. Well, if I were in charge of this effort I would have a special container built to transport the non-standard rods one at a time. Not particularly efficient but not a major problem.

    But then … I’m sane … and practical … and not looking to blow up every little thing into a prediction of imminent doom.

      I was merely posting the somewhat usual circumstance of TEPCO LYING through their TEETH for YEARS.

      And then when there is no alternative, and under pressure, a LESSER distortion is thrown out.

      There have been UMPTEEN-JILLIAN TEPCO protestations that the Fuel assemblies were undamaged, pristine, golden, perfect, un-corroded, un-melted, un-burned and intact. We KNEW it was horse-crapola WHEN they said it, BECAUSE they said it.

      That is not a panic. That is a calm appraisal of an ongoing pack of TEPCO lies. A more competent liar than TEPCO would study Machiavelli and do a better job of it. A more effective advocate than Village Idiot Diemos, would hold silent, or grant the point and would not ROUTINELY defend the indefensible.

  3. Bill Duff, there is a simple solution. They will just use an L shaped cask! Just joking. So you have L shaped rods that were bent out of shape 25 years ago. 25 years..why admit to it. It makes them look even more stupid than they already are. What shape are the rest of the rods in? I suppose we will find out in time. Don’t mean to offend anyone, but truthfully I am sick of the lies and hypocrisy of the Jgov and tepco and I am on my hands and knees fricken praying that the damn thing blows sky high..
    Maybe than people will be evacuated and the world will sit up and take notice.

      YOUR prayers were answered, B4 you asked. The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station has ALREADY blown sky-high, several times. Reactor-1 Boom!, Reactor-2 Boom! Reactor-3 Atomic Boom!!! Several Spent Fuel Pool Fires, and 5 Fatal radiation cases were reported in USA-NRC internal communications. The ENTIRE Northern Hemisphere sky turned burnt orange. Radiation related diseases are RUNNING RAMPANT on the Japanese main island.

      On the off-chance that you personally have the ear of The Almighty, would you PLEASE (pretty-please) consider praying for something else, like HARSH JUSTICE for ‘Team Nuke’? I would personally enjoy that more than a Dead Planet; and could say Amen! (instead of whoa-back)

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
