Cesium density in reactor3 “steam” higher than the gas inside of PCV

Following up this article..[Steaming reactor3] Tepco “The steam may be from the inside of the reactor, a certain volume of N2 gas is missing” [URL]

On 7/29/2013, Tepco reported to Nuclear Regulation Authority about the radiation density in the “steam” coming up from the top of reactor3.

In the report, Tepco stated the cesium density in the “steam” was higher than the gas inside of PCV from their dust sampling on the top of reactor3.


Top of reactor3 (“Steam”) (July)

Cs-134:9.3~14 Bq/m3
Cs-137:23~33 Bq/m3


PCV gas (May)

Cs-134:1.0 Bq/m3
Cs-137:2.0 Bq/m3


Tepco suspected the “steam” may be from the inside of PCV, but it contradicts the fact that the cesium density in the “steam” was higher than the gas inside of PCV.





Truth is not truth because everyone believes in it. It’s the truth because it’s consistent and can’t be rebutted.

Le 29 juillet 2013, Tepco transmettait un rapport à la Nuclear Regulation Authority sur la radioactivité de la “vapeur” sortant du haut du réacteur 3. Dans ce rapport, Tepco affirme que, selon leur échantillonnage au sommet du réacteur 3, la radioactivité en césium de la “vapeur” est supérieure à celle des gaz remplissant la PCV :

Haut du réacteur 3 (“vapeur”) (Juillet)
Cs 134 : 9,3 à 14 Bq/m³
Cs 137 : 23 à 33 Bq/m³

PCV (Mai)
Cs 134 : 1,0 Bq/m³
Cs 137 : 2,0 Bq/m³

Tepco pense que la “vapeur” sort de l’intérieur de la PCV (enceinte primaire du cœur) mais c’est contredit par le fait que la concentration en césium de la vapeur est plus forte que celle de l’air dans la PCV.



Ce n’est pas la vérité parce que tout le monde y croit. C’est la vérité parce que c’est cohérent et irréfutable.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
