High level of all β nuclides, Tritium and Cs-134/137 are measured from groundwater and seawater of Fukushima nuclear plant.
According to Tepco, 1,400,000 Bq/m3 of all β nuclides were also measured from the groundwater in the borings of the east side of reactor3. It includes Strontium-90.
The borings are located in the North East side and South East side of reactor3.
Detection of high level of all β (Sr-90) means the contaminated groundwater is spreading to South of the plant area.
