NRA hasn’t held the meeting for contaminated water problem for over a month / The last one was cancelled

Note : If you are from the international mass media, Don’t read this site before taking a contact with me.

NRA (Nuclear Regulation Authority) hasn’t held the working group meeting about the contaminated water issue since 10/24/2013.

In order to supervise Tepco to settle the contaminated water issue, they organized the working group and held the meeting approx 2 ~ 5 times a month since this August.

The last meeting on 11/12/2013 was cancelled. They haven’t announced the next schedule.

I reject the international mass media to read this site without taking a contact with me.I know some of the mass media corporations read Fukushima Diary to understand the trend so they know when to report about Fukushima as if they were independently following it for a long time.
In short, they make you individual readers pay for this site while they pay nothing, and when they publish the “authorized news”, you pay for the “secondhand news”, which is nothing new for us.
This site is free for the individual readers, but not for corporations. In the world, this site is nearly the only source about Fukushima. I came here alone without any supporting organizations, background or anything. I’m not pleased to be exploited by the corporations that didn’t even properly report about Fukushima when 311 took place.

I demand them to take a contact with me BEFORE reading this site whatever the purpose is.

  1. Distractions:

We can reasonably presume that the ‘Liars Brigade’ is ‘firing for effect’ today; in order to distract our attention from … the topic of ‘Fuel Dispersal’.

A significant portion of the UOX fuel in FDU-1 and FDU-2 was blown sky-high subsequent to the meltdowns and in conjunction with the subsonic deflagrations. A MUCH greater proportion of the MOX (plutonium-enriched) fuel of FDU-3 was dispersed by supersonic DETONATION across a 1,000 square mile region of Honshu Island, Japan. Nuclear fallout is most effectively dispersed by atomic explosions such as the FDU-3 nuclear blast.

The active but dismembered links below represent an attempt to mischaracterize this FDU-3 Atomic Explosion as a mechanical dispersal. More ‘junk-science’ and Team Nuke ‘shillary’, IMHO.

  2. FDU-3 blasted Pu-238 (Rocket Fuel) over a 20 -30 mile radius from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant.

Plutonium is one of the deadlier carcinogens in the universe.

The plutonium 238 isotope is FAR more deadly than other isotopes such as Pu-239 and/or Pu-240 though ANY of these isotopes, or any sufficient combination of these isotopes, can be used to make an atomic weapon.

All three of these isotopes were blasted over this 1,000 square mile region of Honshu Island, Japan.

The lung cancers generated by ANY of them is gawdAWFUL. The worst by far is the Rocket Fuel, which is useful in ‘space batteries’ in satellites, such as Voyager 1. It generates heat and electricity and both are needed in deep space. And it REALLY SUCKS when Space Batteries reenter Earth’s atmosphere and disintegrate and burn and disperse. Lotsa somebodies will ‘catch cancer’ as a result.

    Sincerely,

    Bill Duff

  3. Limit Value

Apparently, TEPCO has acquired a GammaCam with a 20 Sievert/Hour maximum reading. The earlier GammaCam models hit their readout limit at 10 Sievert/Hour. Next year the GammaCam folks may have a higher limit, such as 100 Sievert/Hour. Then in all likelihood, that will be the readings from neutron induced radiation in formerly inert structural steel near the site of the FDU-3 Atomic Explosion.

    1. Those new gamma cams will probably be used purely for personal use, in my opinion. For ‘the peons’ they’ll stick to the old models. They will continue to use restricted-reading equipment to assure us all that the absolute, reachable maximum has been reached and that it can’t get any worse fom her on in.

3 years for multiple meltdowns is not enough time to accept a new radiactive ‘norm’, nor is it nearly enough time to forgive and forget.

  4. Ignoring INTERNATIONAL: Government Propaganda, Advertizing and the Mendacity Media

By Roxanne Palmer on December 11 2013 12:34 PM – http www ibtimes com/ (top-science-papers-social-media-2013-fukushima-radiation-mediterranean-diets-more-1505202)

Top Science Papers On Social Media In 2013: Fukushima Radiation, Mediterranean Diets and More

In 2013, people were really interested in radioactive fallout from the Fukushima disaster, the health benefits of a Mediterranean diet, and the first pictures ever taken of chemical bonds. That’s according to London-based metrics company Altmetric, which this week released its list of top 100 scientific papers that attracted attention in social media. (Those three topics mentioned previously are the top 3 papers on the list, in order).

Altmetric factors in both news stories and social media chatter in determining just how popular a scientific paper is. The top-scoring paper, published in the journal Scientific Reports by a pair of Japanese researchers, examined the radioactive cesium contamination of freshwater fish in the areas surrounding the Fukushima nuclear plant. Altmetric found more than 8,300 tweets about the paper that were potentially seen by more than 4.5 million people. Most of the social media traffic, unsurprisingly, was centered in Japan.

  5. Organized Labor?

Perhaps it would be advantageous if some organized labor union, somewhere, began to OPENLY and EFFECTIVELY advocate for these Fukushima Workers.

Maybe an OBVIOUS group like the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied-Industrial and Service Workers International Union, AFL-CIO. (formerly the Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers, et al.) The food, garment and/or service workers would be better than NOTHING. And NOTHING is (effectively) what they have now. Upton Sinclair would be aghast.

But, somebody, somewhere should be advocating for this particular group of OBVIOUSLY … exploited workers. Perhaps even a Russian Labor Union … Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin claims “Russia is moral compass of the world”. Russia has asserted that it takes a morally superior world-view to the West and is seeking to resist the tide of “non-traditional values”.

A ‘midget-pigmy-dwarf-infant’ would ‘stand-tall’ in the present DEMENTED global ‘body politic’. The ethical bar is so low that a garden-slug could jump over it. IMHO

    Sincerely,

    Bill Duff

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
