[Photo] “White smoke” came up from the body of Mt. Fuji / Ministry of Land “Just cloud of dust”

“White smoke” was observed in extremely large area of Mt. Fuji on 9/30/2015.

From around 9AM, white and brown “smoke” was seen soaring in an erosional valley located on the west side of Mt. Fuji.

It was observed in a distance and local residents commented it is very rare.

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism stated it was merely a “cloud of dust” however the exact scale and cause are not reported.

JMA (Japan Meteorological Agency) has made no announcement on this.

Le 30 septembre 2015, un “panache blanc” a été observé sur une très grande portion du Mt. Fuji.

Vers 09:00; un “panache” brun et blanc a été vu jaillir d’un thalweg situé sur le flanc ouest du Mt. Fuji.
Il a été observé de loin et les habitants du lieu ont déclaré que c’est très rare.

Le ministère des Terres, des Infrastructures, du Transport et du Tourisme (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) affirme que c’est un “nuage de poussières” tout simple, néanmoins sa taille exacte et sa cause ne sont pas communiquées.
La JMA (Japan Meteorological Agency) n’en a fait aucun communiqué.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
