40 of 47 testees were given “A2” diagnosis in Matsudo city of Chiba prefecture. This is the test result from 6/1/2014 to 10/31/2014. The city government announced it on 11/17/2014.

To begin the test, the city government stated approx. 50% of ordinary people are to be given “A2” because ultrasonic echography captures high quality details. They picked up A2 diagnosis ratio in Fukushima prefecture of 46.3% as example. They also introduced it was 57.6% in Hirosaki city, 69.3% in Kofu city, and 42.5% in Nagasaki.

However it’s 85% in Matsudo city though the population of this test is still only 47.


In order to have this test, Matsudo city citizens are required to sign on the letter of consent.

This letter of consent stipulates “This thyroid test is not to evaluate the effect of Fukushima accident”, and also “The test result is not going to guarantee the potential health condition in the future”.

Dans la commune de Matsudo de la préfecture de Chiba, 40 personnes examinées sur 47 ont été diagnostiquées “A2” pour leur thyroïde. C’est le résultat d’examens effectués entre le 1er juin et le 31 octobre 2014. La municipalité l’a communiqué le 17 novembre 2014.
Pour justifier ce sondage, la municipalité avait affirmé qu’environ 50 % des gens sont classés “A2” parce les échographies aux ultra-sons capturent des détails de haute qualité. Ils ont cité en exemple la proportion de A2 de 46,3 % de la préfecture de Fukushima comme exemple. Ils ont également montré qu’elle est de 57,6% dans la commune d’Hirosaki, de 69,3 % dans celle de Kofu et de 42,5 % à Nagasaki.
Cependant, elle atteint 85 % dans celle de Matsudo bien que l’échantillonnage n’en concerne que 47 personnes.

Les habitants de Matsudo doivent signer une lettre de consentement pour pouvoir être examinés.
Cette lettre stipule que “Cet examen de la thyroïde n’est pas une évaluation des effets de l’accident de Fukushima” et aussi que “Les résultats de ces examens ne garantissent pas votre futur état de santé”.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
