Yomiuri newspaper to purchase Tepco Ginza branch building for 24 billion yen

According to Tepco, they are going to sell their Ginza branch building and land to the mass media company, Yomiuri Shimbun Holdings and Yomiuri newspaper Tokyo headquarters in order to cost reduce the cost.

Yomiuri Shimbun Holdings and Yomiuri newspaper Tokyo headquarters are supposed to have won the competitive bidding.

It’s approx. 1,200m2. The selling price of the land is 24 billion yen. On the other hand, the selling price of the building is only 0.1 billion yen for some reason.

However, it is 2.53 times much as the publicly assessed value of land from the research of Fukushima Diary.

Tepco states there are the facilities in the basement floor of the building, which are “important for the power industry”. Therefore the building will be actually sold after the removal of “the important facilities” on 3/31/2016 although the selling contract is made on 8/30/2013. No details about “the important facilities for the power industry” are announced but Tepco is going to pay the rent for the building until 2016.

Le journal Yomiuri va racheter pour 24 milliards de yens le bâtiment de la branche Ginza de Tepco

 

Selon Tepco, ils vont vendre leurs bâtiment de la branche Ginza et ses domaines aux sociétés de presse Yomiuri Shimbun Holdings et Yomiuri newspaper Tokyo pour réduire leurs coûts.

Les sièges des Yomiuri Shimbun Holdings et Yomiuri newspaper Tokyo sont supposés avoir remporté l’appel d’offres.
Il s’agit d’environ 1 200 m². Le prix de vente du terrain est de 24 milliards de yens. D’un autre côté, le prix de vent du bâtiment n’est que de 0,1 milliards de yens.
Cependant et selon les recherches du Fukushima Diary, c’est 2,53 fois la valeur mobilière publique des terrains.
Tepco affirme qu’au niveau des fondations du bâtiment se trouvent des équipement qui “sont important pour l’industrie électrique”. Donc, le bâtiment sera effectivement vendu après le retrait de ces “équipements importants” au 31 mars 2016 alors que le contrat de vente est au 30 août 2013. Aucun détail n’est donné sur ces “équipements importants pour l’industrie électrique” mais Tepco va payer la location du bâtiment jusqu’en 2016.
