All the students evacuated but one student,yet school held a sports meeting in 62km area for unity of local community

On 5/26/2013, Ohnami elementary school in Fukushima city held a sports meeting with only one student.

There were 30 students in this school but everyone evacuated by this Spring except for the last student Mr. Sato.

Graduates and residents joined it to increase the participants.

It’s in 62km North West of Fukushima nuclear plant.

The school area was decontaminated but the atmospheric dose is still 0.337μSv/h. (21:30 5/27/2013, 50cm from the ground)

The purpose of the sports meeting was to strengthen the unity of the local community and school.

Tous les élèves sont partis, l’école, à 62 km, organise une rencontre sportive pour renforcer les liens entre les habitants


Le 26 mai 2013, l’école élémentaire d’Ohnami de la ville de Fukushima a organisé une rencontre sportive avec les élèves.

Il y avait 30 élèves dans cette école que tout le monde a évacuée au printemps dernier sauf un élève, M. Sato.
Des élèves de deuxième cycle et des habitants s’y sont rendus pour en augmenter le nombre de participants.
C’est à 62 km au nord-ouest de la centrale de Fukushima.
L’école a été décontaminée mais la dose ambiante reste toujours forte, 0,337 μSv/h. (au 27 mai 2013 à 21:30 et à 50 cm du sol)

Le but de cette rencontre sportive était de renforcer les liens entre l’école et la communauté locale.

I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
