On 9/10/2012, Japanese government banned shipping landlocked salmon from another river in Tochigi prefecture, Nagano gawa. (About 165 km from Fukushima plant)

More than 100 Bq/Kg of cesium was measured from landlocked salmon of the river, Japanese government requested Tochigi prefecture to stop shipping landlocked salmon.

 

永野川(鹿沼、栃木市)で採取したヤマメから基準値(1キロ当たり100ベクレル)を超える放射性セシウムが検出されたとして、政府は10日、県に出荷停止を指示した。県生産振興課によると、既に管轄の永野川漁協、下都賀漁協、県漁連に出荷自粛を要請している。

Plus de 100 Bq/kg de césium ont été relevés dans des saumons enclavés dans le fleuve, le gouvernement a exigé de la préfecture de Tochigi l’arrêt des expéditions de ces saumons.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
