The Japanese citizen detected 23,461 Bq/Kg of Cs-134/137 from mushroom in Fukushima.

The sample was “Cortinarius”. The sampling location was in a temple of Iwaki city.

The person commented that it was the highest reading among other mushroom samples collected in this temple area.

Un habitant japonais a relevé 23 461 Bq/lg de Cs-134/137 dans des champignons de Fukushima.

Il s’agit de “Cortinarius”. Ils ont été ramassés dans un temple de la commune d’Iwaki. L’habitant déclare que c’est le record sur tous les champignons ramassés aux alentours de ce temple.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
