The French embassy in Japan held a dinner party with Fukushima food

According to the French embassy in Japan, they held Fukushima food dinner party on 6/17/2016.

Fukushima governor. Uchibori, Minister for Reconstruction. Takagi, and a French singer. Charles Aznavour were invited by the Ambassador of France. Thierry Dana.

Fukushima beef, Cherry, and locally raised chicken were served as French cuisine.

In the press release, the major retail company Aeon is mentioned as a partner of this event.

CEO of Aeon is the older brother of Japanese Democratic Party’s leader. Okada.


Fukushima Governor commented they have not detected excessive density of radioactive material in any of their agricultural products over the past year.

Selon l’ambassade de France au Japon, le 17 juin 2016 au soir ils ont organisé un dîner à base d’aliments de Fukushima.

Le gouverneur de Fukushima, M. Uchibori, le ministre de la Reconstruction, M. Takagi, et un chanteur français, M. Charles Aznavour, étaient les invités de l’ambassadeur de France, M. Thierry Dana.
Ils ont servi du bœuf, des cerises et des poulets locaux de Fukushima préparés à la française.
Dans le compte rendu de presse, Aeon, le plus grand distributeur alimentaire, est cité comme partenaire de l’événement. Le PDG d’Aeon est aussi le frère aîné du chef du parti démocratique japonais, M. Okada.

Le gouverneur de Fukushima a déclaré que depuis l’an dernier ils n’ont relevé de radioactivité excessive dans aucun de leurs produits agricoles.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
