32 Bq/Kg of Cs-134/137 detected from vacuum cleaner dust in Tokyo of this year

The citizen’s radiation measurement station also measured significant density of Cesium-134/137 from vacuum cleaner dust taken in Mitaka city of Tokyo, reported on 9/14/2015.

The sample has been used for 6 months since 2/25/2015.

Cs-134 density was 6.69 Bq/Kg, Cs-137 density was 25.4 Bq/Kg to prove this is from Fukushima accident.

The measurement station states the density is indicated to be lower because of hair mixed with the dust.

La station privée de surveillance de la radioactivité a également rapporté le 14 septembre 2015 avoir relevé une radioactivité importante en césium 134/137 dans un aspirateur propre de la ville de Mitaka dans Tokyo.

L’échantillon a été utilisé pendant 6 mois à partir du 25 février 2015.

La radioactivité en Cs 134 est de 6,69 Bq/kg, celle en Cs 137 de 25,4 Bq/kg prouvant qu’elle provient de l’accident de Fukushima.

La station affirme que la radioactivité indiquée doit être plus faible à cause des cheveux mélangés avec la poussière.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
