Last December’s fallout in Futaba increased 3.7 × as December of 2013

According to NRA (Nuclear Regulation Authority), Last December’s fallout level of Cs-134/137 increased 3.7 times much as December 2013 in Fukushima.

From their report “Readings of environmental radioactivity level by prefecture” released on 1/30/2015, the fallout level in Futaba county was 6,200 MBq/km2・month in December of 2014.

It was 1,657 MBq/km2・month in December of 2013.

The readings of other areas in Fukushima prefecture are not reported.

NRA hasn’t made any announcement on this rapid increase in fallout level.

Les retombées sur Futaba de décembre sont 3,7 fois celles de décembre de l’an dernier


Selon la NRA (Nuclear Regulation Authority), à Fukushima le niveau des retombées en Cs 134/137 de décembre dernier est à 3,7 fois celui de décembre 2013.

Selon leur rapport “Relevés des niveaux de radioactivité environnementale par préfecture” publié le 30 janvier 2015, le niveau des retombées sur le comté de Futaba a été de 6 200 MBq/km²・mois en décembre 2014.
Il était de 1 657 MBq/km²・mois en décembre 2013.
Les relevés des autres régions de la préfecture de Fukushima ne sont pas présentés.
La NRA n’a fait aucun communiqué sur cette augmentation rapide du niveau des retombées.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
