M5.6 hit South part of Ibaraki / Entire Kanto area shaken

M5.6 occurred in South part of Ibaraki at 12:28 9/16/2014 (JST), according to Japan Meteorological Agency.

The depth of epicenter was 50km.

The entire Kanto area, even a part of Western and North Japan were shaken. The maximum seismic scale was 5. Scale 4 was also detected in Tokyo.

At this moment, Tepco announces only that no plant abnormality was reported, but none of the detailed plant parameters have been published.

Un M5,6 a eu lieu au sud d’Ibaraki ce 16 septembre 2014 à 12:28 (JST), selon la Japan Meteorological Agency.

L’épicentre était à 50 km de profondeur.
Il a été ressenti sur la totalité de la région de Kanto et même sur une partie de l’Ouest et du Nord du Japon. L’intensité maximale sur l’échelle sismique a été de 5. Ils ont également relevé une échelle de 4 dans Tokyo.
Pour l’instant, Tepco annonce qu’aucune anomalie n’a été constatée dans la centrale mais aucun paramètre précis n’est divulgué.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
