According to Miyagi prefecture, 86 Bq/Kg of Iodine-131 was measured from sewage sludge in Iwanuma city Miyagi. Iodine-131 is from nuclear reaction or medical treatment. According to Gunma prefecture, 16Bq/Kg of Iodine-131 was measured from sewage sludge. 9 Bq/Kg of Cs-137 was also measured from the same sample. The sample was collected from 12/21 to 12/26/2012. According to Tepco’s report about exposure dose of Fukushima workers submitted to WHO, 2 workers have over 10Sv equivalent dose for thyroid (It includes only the equivalent dose from I-131, Cs-134/137 is excluded.), 1 worker has 678.8 mSv exposure internally and externally. In July 2012, Iodine-131 was measured for 21 days from dried sewage sludge in Da-te country. It started measured on 7/4/2012, and it jumped up on 7/6/2012. It rained 40.5mm on 7/6/2012, but Cesium-134/137 increased on 7/8/2012, which shows the rain didn’t increase the reading of Iodine-131. In the data of other months, no connection [...]
