Paul McCartney to cancel all the shows in Japan

On 5/20/2014, a spokesman for Paul McCartney announced he is going to cancel all the rests of the shows in Japan. The illness is described as “inflammation by virus”, but none of the details are stated.

 

He postponed the shows of 5/17 and 5/18, but decided to cancel them, the show on 5/21 of Tokyo National Stadium and 5/24 of Nagai Stadium.

His physical condition hasn’t been improved and doctors ordered to focus on resting.

Statement regarding the remaining Japanese shows
A spokesperson for Paul McCartney said:
Paul McCartney will regrettably have to cancel the remaining Japanese shows. Paul is still not feeling better and this cancelation is unavoidable. He was hoping to be better but the doctors have ordered him complete rest. Paul has been extremely moved by the messages from his fans and is upset to be letting them down.
All possibilities to find a solution to reschedule these shows as soon as possible are being explored.

I was really looking forward to playing in Japan again after we had such an amazing time here in November. So to cancel these shows as well as the National Stadium shows is hugely disappointing for me as well. I’d like to thank my Japanese fans for their love, messages of support and understanding.

Le 20 mai2014, un porte-parole de Paul McCartney a déclaré qu’ils allaient annuler tous les autres concerts prévus au Japon. Sa maladie est décrite comme “une inflammation d’origine virale” mais aucun détail n’est précisé.

Il avait repoussé les spectacles des 17 et 18 mai mais ils ont décidé de tous les annuler, ainsi que celui prévu le 21 au stade national de Tokyo et celui du 24 mai au stade de Nagai.

Un porte-parole de M. Paul McCartney a déclaré :
Paul McCartney va malheureusement devoir annuler ses autres concerts japonais. Paul ne va toujours pas mieux et ces annulations sont inévitables. Il espérait aller mieux mais les médecins ont exigé le repos complet. Paul a été extrêmement touché par les messages de ses fans et il est contrarié de devoir les laisser tomber.
Toues les possibilités pour trouver une solution pour reprogrammer ces spectacles aussi vite que possible sont examinées.

J’attendais vraiment de pouvoir jouer au Japon à nouveau après avoir passé des moments aussi extraordinaires ici en novembre dernier. Alors, annuler ces spectacles ainsi que celui du National Stadium est extrêmement décevant pour moi aussi. Je voudrais remercier tous mes fans japonais pour leur amour, leurs messages de soutien et leur compréhension.
J’espère vous revoir à nouveau bientôt.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
