Tepco completed steel frame of reactor4 cover to start installing fuel removing crane

According to Tepco, they completed building the steel frame of reactor4 cover on 5/29/2013.

The construction was started on 1/8/2013.

In order to remove the fuel assemblies from SFP4, they are going to install the crane from early June.

Tepco a terminé le cadre d’acier de couverture du réacteur 4 permettant de commencer la mise en place de la grue à retirer les combustibles

 

Selon Tepco, ils ont fini la construction du cadre en acier de couverture du réacteur 4 le 29 mai 2013.

Sa construction avait commencé le 8 janvier 2013.
Pour pouvoir retirer les assemblages de combustible de la SFP4 (piscine des barres de combustible usagées), ils doivent mettre en place une grue début juin.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
