Volcanic gas volume jumped up 56 times much as average in Mt. Asamasan

Following up this article.. Mt. Asamasan erupted first time after a period of 6 years from 2009 [URL]

 

On 6/25/2015, Japan Meteorological Agency announced the daily volcanic gas (sulfur dioxide) volume increased to 5,600 t on 6/25/2015.

This is 56 times much as the end of May and the largest amount since 2009. This is over 5 times much as a day before recent eruption eruption.

They reported the volcanic activity is becoming even more intense regardless of the continuous eruptions.

Ils disent que l’activité volcanique continue de s’intensifier en dépit des éruptions continues.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
