In the press conference of 8/21/2013, Tepco’s vice president Aizawa confessed there are many other risks but the leakage from the tank.

He stated these risks haven’t been announced in public. Tepco is evaluating the various data at the moment. They might reveal it someday but they are focusing on the leakage right now.

Au cours de la conférence de presse du 21 août 2013, le vice-président de Tepco, M. Aizawa, a confessé qu’il y a beaucoup d’autres risques en plus des fuites de citernes.

Il a affirmé que ces risques n’ont pas été présentés au public. Tepco examine ses différentes données en ce moment. Ils pourraient les révéler un jour mais ils sont concentrés sur les fuites pour l’instant.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
