The production output of Matsutake mushroom decreased by 74% compared to 2010

Domestic production output of Matsutake mushroom of 2011 was smaller than the one of 2010 by 74%, which was the second smallest in the past according to the Forestry Agency.

Decreasing rate

-100% : Fukushima (Shipping restriction partially affected)
-100% : Gifu
-93% : Yamagata
-84% : Nagano
-81% : Iwate
-78% : Ishikawa

The forestry agency presumes it was because of the severe summer heat.

La production domestique de champignons Matsutake de 2011 a diminué de 74 % par rapport à celle de 2010  qui était déjà la deuxième plus petite connue depuis qu’elle est surveillée par le service des Forêts.

Taux de chute :

-100% : Fukushima (l’interdiction d’expédition a partiellement contribué)
-100% : Gifu
-93% : Yamagata
-84% : Nagano
-81% : Iwate
-78% : Ishikawa

Le Service des Forêts dit que c’est à cause d’un été trop chaud.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
