Tepco “We don’t know but let’s say reactor3 had a hydrogen explosion because NISA said so.”

Another fact was revealed from non-released to public parts of the video record of Tepco.

It’s suspected that reactor3 had nuclear explosion like Chernobyl but Tepco is still denying the possibility.
Reactor3 is supposed to have a hydrogen explosion. However, the non-released video showed Tepco had no basis to assert it was a hydrogen explosion.

On the video of the head office 30 minutes after reactor3 exploded at 11:01 of 3/14/2012, one of the executive managers, Takahashi stated,

” We don’t know if it was really a hydrogen explosion, but because the government, Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said it was a hydrogen explosion, let’s announce it was a hydrogen explosion. They’re trying to say it was the same explosion but different reactor number, aren’t they.”

Takahashi was making the statement for press conference with Shimizu, former Tepco president.

Thank you very much for your support.

I’ll have a very important visit to NYC. It’s the city, where even wifi costs at a hotel, your support is very appreciated.

You’ll soon get to see the output.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
