Tepco released the photos of the broken parts of the damaged stack on 10/7/2013. The image quality is low for some reason, but we can clearly see the parts completely cut off.

According to Tepco, the stack has 5 parts broken, and they are all concentrated at 66m height from the ground. The reason is not verified.

  1. 10+ Sieverts/Hr

It is generally appropriate to investigate the CAUSE(s) of structural failures. The measured high radiation Dosage values, 10+ [Sv/Hr], allows us to ELIMINATE the earthquake and tsunami, from consideration of this structural damage.

The deflagrations in FDU-1 and FDU-2 are somewhat implausible sources of the damage.

The immensely energetic detonation of FDU-3, combined with similar Gamma Cam measured fatal radiation dosage levels; is the most likely suspect.

So what kind of an explosion would SNAP nuclear grade structural steel like a toothpick? And what kind of explosion induces radiation in previously inert, non-radioactive metals?

What’s the matter TEPCO? … Cat got your tongue?

    Sincerely,

    Bill Duff

    1. Bill, those breaks in the struts look more like resonance node excursions than anything else.

      1. 10+ Sv/Hr emitted from formerly INERT and now physically damaged structural equipment in a Fukushima ventilation stack.

“Pluralitas non est ponenda sine necessitate” “Entia Non Sunt Multiplicanda Praeter Necessitatem” Or by what we now routinely refer to Occam’s Razor, whereby we ‘Shave Away’ unnecessary and trivial information. The simplest SINGLE explanation is generally most reflective of the reality. (That would be … actual SCIENCE)

We can rule out a lot of physical phenomena with NEUTRON INDUCED radiation in formerly inert materials. We can eliminate vibration, chemical agent, electrochemical, electromagnetic, impulse, resonance, mechanical, impulse.

Yuki N. Karakawa presented the FDU-3 blast quite succinctly.

        Lessons from Fukushima

Yuki N. Karakawa, of the Karakawa Foundation and ambassador to the International Association of Emergency Managers, along with Kazuo Aichi, Japan’s defense minister in the 1990s, are both members of the Japan Resilience Initiative.

“300 kilometers should be evacuated, but we did not, Japan did not evacuate. […] In some areas, we can find very strange material like europium and so on. Now Self Defense Forces is collecting all materials. Also spent fuel flew because of a second explosion; it’s more like a bomb, exploded and flew like 30 kilometers. So government, or Self Defense, is now collecting all spent fuel pellets.”

  2. Gamma Cam images would be interesting, for blast forensic purposes. However, we are NOT holding our breath, in eager anticipation.

Plant operator Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco) reported on Monday that radiation exceeding 10 sieverts (10,000 millisieverts) per hour was found at the bottom of a ventilation stack standing between two reactors.

On Tuesday Tepco said it found another spot on the ventilation stack itself where radiation exceeded 10 sieverts per hour, a level that could lead to incapacitation or death after just several seconds of exposure.

The company used equipment to measure radiation from a distance and was unable to ascertain the exact level because the device’s maximum reading is 10 sieverts.

And what ‘radiation proof’ welder climbed that deadly radioactive pole, with a cutting torch in hand? Laughable,

  4. It was said in the otherworldly messages I’m getting since march 2011 that ongoing radiation is damaging the buildings’s substance, making them most vulnerable. Be sure, there is more in the coming ! All that was announced, predicted, advised, warned of, was right. I made a comparative study of facts and the content of the messages. About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
