Mass media reported Reactor 2 has almost no fuel inside / 6 months later than the first academic report

The mass media in Japan such as NHK reported that almost none of the fuel remaining in Reactor 2, which is 6 months after the original academic report.

The original report was released by Nagoya University this March. Fukushima Diary immediately covered it however Japanese mass media did not cover it for over 6 months for some reason.

These “news” companies added that 70~100% of fuel could have been molten but the rest of the articles contain nothing new from the original report.

La grande presse japonaise, genre NHK, rapporte qu’il ne reste quasiment plus de combustible dans le réacteur 2, soit 6 mois après le rapport officiel initial.

Le rapport original a été publié par l’Université de Nagoya en mars dernier. Le Fukushima Diary l’a immédiatement rapporté mais la presse japonaise n’en a pas fait mention pendant plus de 6 mois.
Ces agences de “presse” ajoutent que 70 à 100% du combustible a du fondre, le reste des articles ne contient rien de nouveau depuis le rapport initial.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
