Japanese emperor and empress to visit 30km area to watch decontamination

On 10/9/2012, the Imperial Household Agency announced emperor and empress are to visit Kawauchi mura in Fukushima on 10/13/2012.
Kawauchi mura is in 30km area. Emperor and empress will inspect decontamination work including washing the walls and roofs of houses and people living in temporary housing.
3,000 of all the people have evacuated Kawauchi mura. 500 of them have come back but still no one can live in 20km area, 90 people are living in the temporary housings in the village.

2012年10月9日 宮内庁は 天皇、皇后両陛下が 13日に福島県川内村を訪れることを発表しました。川内村は東京電力福島第1原発から30キロ圏内にあります。天皇、皇后両陛下は 住宅の壁や屋根などの除染作業を視察したり、仮設住宅で暮らす人たちを励ましたりされるということです。川内村では 3000人が一時全村避難しました。そのうち500名は 戻りましたが 避難区域20キロ以内には まだ誰も住めません。90人は 未だに仮説住宅で生活をしています。

L’impératrice et l’empereur du Japon vont visiter la zone des 30 km pour inspecter la décontamination

Le 9 octobre 2012, l’Imperial Household Agency a annoncé que l’empereur et l’impératrice vont se rendre à Kawauchi mura de Fukushima, le 13 octobre 2012.
Kawauchi mura est dans la zone des 30 km. L’empereur et l’impératrice vont inspecter le travail de décontamination y compris le nettoyage des murs et des toits des maisons et voir les gens qui vivent dans des hébergements temporaires.
3 000 habitants de Kawauchi mura l’ont évacué. 500 d’entre eux sont revenus mais toujours personne ne peut vivre dans la zone des 20 km, 90 personnes vivent dans des hébergements provisoires dans le village.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
