[Jan~May.2012] Decrease of population is 4 times bigger than 2007

Decrease of Japanese population (Birth – Death) from January to May in 2012 is 4 times bigger than the same term of 2007. When it’s compared to 2006, it’s 5 times bigger.

Below is the comparison of the monthly decrease of Japanese population.

January ~ May, 2012 vs average of 2010 ~ 2006.

It’s based on the prompt report of demographic statistics from Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. [Link] Report of June. 2012 is not published yet.

January ~ May, from 2006 to 2012.

It spiked up from 2010 ro 2011 because of 311, but the decrease of 2012 is worse than in 2011.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
