From this May to June, Iodine-131 was measured from dried sewage sludge according to Funabashi city government of Chiba.
They collect the samples from 2 sewage plants in the city. This May, 38 Bq/Kg of Iodine-131 was measured from one of the plants. This June, 19 Bq/Kg of Iodine-131 was also detected from the other plant.
Cs-134/137 was also detected. 12 Bq/Kg of Cs-137 was measured from the former sample. 91 Bq/Kg of Cs-134/137 was measured from the latter sample.
They don’t analyze other nuclides. Regarding this detection of Iodine-131, Funabashi city government has not made any comment.

De l’iode 131 dans les boues sèches d’une station de Funabashi à Chiba
Selon la municipalité de Funabashi de Chiba, de l’iode 131 a été relevé entre mai et juin dernier dans les boues sèches d’une station d’épuration.
Ils ont pris leurs échantillons dans 2 stations d’épuration de la ville. En mai dernier, ils ont relevé 38 Bq/kg d’iode 131 dans l’une d’elles. En juin dernier, 19 Bq/kg d’iode 131 dans l’autre.
Du césium 134/137 a aussi été relevé, 12 Bq/kg dans le premier échantillon et 91 Bq/kg dans le second.
Ils ne recherchent pas les autres radionucléides.
La municipalité de Funabashi n’a fait aucun communiqué sur la détection d’iode 131.
