Gunma prefectural government hid I-131 density data in sewage plant sludge from this August

Gunma prefectural government decided not to disclose I-131 data of sewage plant sludge from this August.

From May of 2011, they analyzed the dehydrated sludge of sewage plant to release the data of I-131, Cs-134 and Cs-137.

I-131 had been detected every month. 13 ~ 49 Bq/Kg of I-131 had been measured from this May to July too.

In their August report released on 9/4/2015, they commented they are no longer showing the data of I-131 density. The reason is not announced.

En août dernier, la préfecture de Gunma a décidé de ne plus publier la radioactivité en I-131 de la station d’épuration.

Ils ont analysé les boues sèches de la station dès mai 2011 pour en publier les résultats concernant l’iode 131, le césium 134 et le césium 137.
De l’iode 131 a été relevé tous les mois. Ils avaient relevé entre 13 et 49 Bq/kg d’iode 131 entre mai et juillet dernier.
Dans leur compte-rendu d’août dernier publié le 4 septembre 2015, ils déclarent qu’ils ne donneront plus la radioactivité en iode 131. Ils n’en donne aucune explication.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
