Fukushima worker “Restart of nuclear plants will cause shortage of Fukushima workers”

Actual Fukushima worker Happy11311 commented about his concern of shortage of nuclear workers, and also distrust of monitoring posts.

Subcontract companies will go bankrupt and withdraw from Fukushima with nuclear workers if Tepco continues to decommission Fukushima as they have been doing even after they are nationalized. If other nuclear plants are forcefully restarted by the government,  nuclear workers will go to work at other nuclear plants and they won’t come back to Fukushima for sure.

Related to the manipulation of integral dose [Link], there are more and more radiation monitoring posts all around in Japan, but I can’t trust the results of those monitors. They put a lot of monitoring posts in the hazard area but they carefully decontaminate just around the monitoring posts.

In the terrible case, they replace the old soil with the concrete base under the monitoring post. They are trying to lift hazard area based on the monitoring post results. They are going to lift hazard area in Naraha city too, but Naraha city should make their own radiation map by themselves. They are showing citizens the monitoring data received from  Ministry of the Environment without checking anything.

  2. I saw video of the monitoring station near Fukushima, the level was abnormally low compared to journalist’s device; as usual. and the level never changed . I think machine was tampered with?

  3. Maybe the monitoring posts have concrete pads carefully made with the famous Japanese radioactive cement, so that the readings aren’t any different compared to the dirt that was removed…right?

Stranger things have happened since 3/11.

  4. Monitoring posts for anything are not there to measure safety, they are there for our peace of mind – to convince civilians of safety even when there is danger. It’s an effective trick.

  5. The radiation monitoring posts remind me of something out of 1984. As signs of mutated plants grow all around, a low reading on the monitor gives us the feeling that Big Brother is looking out for us. It’s hard to believe this all is real, but I guess its the price we pay for offshoring our responsibility.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
