Former Fukushima worker “Pumping up ground water may cause Fukushima plant a land subsidence”

Currently 400 tones of ground water is flowing into Fukushima nuclear plant every single day.

To reduce the water volume, Tepco is pumping up the ground water in the upstream of the vein. Tepco is already about to discharge the pumped water to the sea soon after they obtain the approval of the stakeholders. (The pumped water is not purified.)

The former Fukushima worker Happy11311 commented on Twitter that it may cause a land subsidence of the plant area.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
