Column of the Day: July 29, 2011

Why am I posting?

I used to export Japanese pop culture goods as my small business, but I’m explaining the radiation risk to my customers, recommending them not to buy anything from Japan.

No wonder it kills me financially but I don’t want to kill my own common good.

Just a few weeks later, they started reporting contaminated tea leaf, veges, beef, pork and fish. They should have known that way sooner. It was so obvious.

Now more and more people are hostile to the gov and Tepco. Some of them even try to kill pm or the chairman of tepco.

It’s fun to look for something “bad”.

but the problem is not that simple.

The problem is in the domination.

Domination of power, domination of mass media, domination of economy, and domination of domination.

This is the astonishing view of the end of capitalism.

De-nuc is not a simple change.

It won’t go like “ok,let’s get a solar panel then call it a day.”

De-nuc will require us to alter the whole world.

It will need us to change who we are.

In the meantime,Japan won’t be inhabitable place in the next couple of years.

Instead of exporting goods,I’m starting to export information, which is what I’m just doing now.

This is my treatment for their domination of news.

We need our own independent network.

I wish I could be a little helper for that.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
