Additional 200 children to have re-examination of thyroid in Fukushima

On 2/13/2013, Fukushima Diary reported 3 children had thyroid cancer in Fukushima, and additional 7 children are likely to have thyroid cancer for 80% of possibility as well. [URL]

So far, 549 of 94,975 children are required to have re-examination for further detailed check-up. They may end up having thyroid cancer as well.

On 2/18/2013, freelance journalist / comedian Oshidori reported additional 200 children are required to have re-examination.

These 200 children are in Kohriyama city and Miharu machi of Fukushima.

Le 18 février 2013, le journaliste free-lance / comédien Oshidori rapporte que 200 autres enfants sont convoqués pour  ré-examen.

Ces 200 enfants sont des villes de Kohriyama et Miharu machi, dans Fukushima.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
