77Bq/Kg from mushroom in Aomori, “355km from Fukushima plant”

Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare reported 77Bq/Kg of cesium-137 was measured from mushroom (Lactarius volemus) in Towada city in Aomori.

Aomori prefecture is located at the most northern part of Japanese main island, 356 km from Fukushima plant.

The sample was taken on 10/1/2012.

厚生労働省は 青森県十和田市のきのこ(チチタケ)から セシウム137が 77ベクレル検出されたと報告しました。

青森県は日本の本州の最北端に位置しており 福島原発から356キロ離れています。

その検査は 2012年10月1日に行われました。The sample was taken on 10/1/2012.

Le ministère de la Santé, du Travail et des Affaires Sociales rapporte qu’il a relevé 77 Bq/kg de césium-137 dans des champignons (Lactarius volemus) de la commune de Towada dans la préfecture d’Aomori.

La préfecture d’Aomori est celle la plus au Nord de l’île principale du Japon, à 356 km de la centrale de Fukushima.

L’échantillon date du 1er octobre 2012.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
