Tritium density became the highest in boring nearest to the sea again, “630,000,000 Bq/m3”

According to Tepco, they measured the highest reading of Tritium from boring No.1-1 again. They detected 630,000,000 Bq/m3 from the sample of 7/8/2013. It was 600,000,000 Bq/m3 on 7/5/2013. They also measured 4,400,000 Bq/m3 of all β (such as Strontium-90) from this sample. This boring is only 4~5 m from the sea. Tepco is planning to abandon this boring as they build the underground wall. (cf, Tepco to “improve” the ground to stop groundwater contamination spreading by crushing an observation … Continue reading Tritium density became the highest in boring nearest to the sea again, “630,000,000 Bq/m3”
