↑ Banded dogfish [Wikipedia]

1,070 Bq/Kg of Cesium-134/137 was measured from fish “outside” of Fukushima plant port on 11/25/2013. It suggests the contamination is leaking out of the plant port.

The sample was “Banded dogfish”. The sampling location was 2km offshore of Fukushima Daini.

The measured Cs-134/137 level is over 10 times much as Japanese food safety level.

The marine products survey is regularly conducted by Tepco. However, it is not announced if they really publish all the sampling data without choosing. The test results are not inspected by the third party organization either.

I reject the international mass media to read this site without taking a contact with me.I know some of the mass media corporations read Fukushima Diary to understand the trend so they know when to report about Fukushima as if they were independently following it for a long time.
In short, they make you individual readers pay for this site while they pay nothing, and when they publish the “authorized news”, you pay for the “secondhand news”, which is nothing new for us.
This site is free for the individual readers, but not for corporations. In the world, this site is nearly the only source about Fukushima. I came here alone without any supporting organizations, background or anything. I’m not pleased to be exploited by the corporations that didn’t even properly report about Fukushima when 311 took place.

I demand them to take a contact with me BEFORE reading this site whatever the purpose is.

  1. As I wrote recently it should be considdered to take in Glutathion reduced and EDTA by those who are exposed to radiation.

Some physicians say it is not effective when you take it orally, but that is not true.

In april 2013 a study from the Pen State University about Glutathion orally taken in was released:

    http://news.psu.edu/story/274033/2013/04/22/research/research-shows-oral-supplement-increases-bodys-storage-antioxidant

Furthermore you should read the following article:

    http://www.smart-publications.com/articles/the-business-of-chelation-and-why-EDTA-oral-chelation-is-best

  2. It could be wise to follow a radiation protocol even if you do not measure much radiation with your Geiger Counter in your environment – why is it ?

When we recapitulate the history of Fukushima Unit 3 it looks like there was a huge release of plutonium. The following article is from february 2012 and summarizes the situation so far.

    http://agreenroad.blogspot.de/2012/02/what-really-happened-at-fukushima.html

What we do know for sure is the fact, that Pu 239 for example has a very long half-life. That makes it an isotope, that is not that much radioactive compared with other radioactive isotopes, that have a much shorter half-life.

So, Geiger Counter measurements might be low, but it could be, that your evironment is poluted with plutonium.

Sometimes I asked myself if an ELE has already taken place

  3. I’ve just seen a former CCCP evacuu in NZ receive a pacemaker 27 years after being evacuated to NZ from radiation effects.
Until then, he was fit and healthy.

Now, they say any more than 22 Bq/kg of Cs in the body starts showing health effects.

Some pay argue that this is not so …. but we still do not know, as the first experiment is still running.

Lower your safety limit figures, Quickly.

1 kg of fish ingested equates in a 100 kg person to 100 Bq/kg.

This is clearly not a ‘safety limit’ but a mortality barrier.

    Barriers should not be crossed.

  4. Math correction,

An 100kg person consuming 1kg of anything, will have 1/100th the concentration of that something inside, (overall) following the meal.

That is, 1% of the concentration level in that one fish. This would be the case for water, salt, pepper, iodine, or a radioactive substance.

Some substances may concentrate at some point in the body. Iodine, whether the stable or radioactive form, strongly concentrates in the thyroid gland.

Stable cesium and radiocesium more slightly (weakly) concentrate in the muscles. Stable cesium is relatively rare, so it is never an environmental hazard in nature. Radiocesium, Cs-137 and the MUCH deadlier (15X as active) Cs-134 CLEARLY cause irreversible heart muscle damage. They also CLEARLY interfere with the electrical system of the heart. So by two separate and deadly mechanisms, radiocesium causes cardiac death.

This was THOROUGHLY documented in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus following Chernobyl. Team Nuke is working night and day to suppress the SCIENCE, but they have failed.

    Sincerely,

    Bill Duff

    1. I was wondering what was causing my chest pains.

My Dictator Doctor claimed it was only gas.
What scientific basis did he make the claim upon?
Two minutes of listening with a stethoscope.
I had no gas at either end for hours (before or after).
What a fraud he is, in my opinion.

After all, i do hold evidence of a heart stoppage for over a half-hour within past year. Was told “that’s impossible”.
No retest allowed. Frauds number 2 & 3.

Three strikes, and i am out of credible Doctors.
With Doctors like these, who needs enemas?

  5. The old food safety limit was 10 Bq/KG, post Fukushima they raised it to 100 Bq/KG.
So shouldn’t this be 100X the old safe limit?

    1. ALARA

As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) WAS the long-standing USA radiation rule, until recently. So also, ‘trust but verify’, in all matters.

Each new ionizing radiation standard, was 1/10 (10%) the preceding standard … until recently.

The Kenya Native and his equally illegitimate (so-called) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have reversed that long-standing public policy.

The Kenya Native, Barack Hussein Obama and one of his oxymora, Orwellian minion agencies, have UNILATERALLY RAISED the USA radioactive standard to alarmingly high levels. Plus, radiation testing results of FOOD is now HIDDEN from the USA public that PAYS for the testing. This despotic and dangerous policy is an environmental and public policy nightmare.

      Sincerely,

      Bill Duff

  6. Hello,

Thank you for telling the world the truth about Fukushima. I am afraid the Japanese people are being lied to and manipulated by the government and Japanese media.

  7. 500X

    10,000 / 20 = 500X (increase in cancers)

    http://www.nti.org/gsn/article/epa-documents-raise-doubts-over-intent-new-nuclear-response-guide/

Most recently, a February NCRP report funded by the U.S. Homeland Security Department suggested implementing ICRP cleanup goals under which an annual radiation dose of up to 2,000 millirems per year is permitted — a rate at which as many as 1 in 20 people would be expected to develop cancer from long-term exposure. Normally, EPA does not permit actions that would leave more than 1 in 10,000 people at risk for cancer from 30 years of exposure, pursuant to rules its Superfund program established in the 1980s.

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services is taking a similar position. It says leaving out numerical limits for specific contaminants “and directing the reader to myriad additional references reduces the usefulness” of the guide.

“In addition, some of the referenced reports are copyrighted materials and require a fee to access. In an emergency the ability to obtain the many referenced documents may be severely limited, causing an undue risk to the public,” the California office states.

As far as cleanup is concerned, California says the Superfund guidelines, under which no more than 1 in 10,000 people are to be put at risk for cancer, should be made the rule for long-term recovery rather than simply being presented as an option, as the guide currently does. And like its counterparts in Orange County, the governor’s office also recommends using existing EPA drinking-water rules after a radiological incident.

The drinking-water issue has been one of the most contentious aspects of the new guide since an earlier draft of the document leaked in 2007. Unlike the Bush-era version, the April guide does not include directly in its text drinking-water guidelines thousands of times weaker than standard EPA rules. Instead it suggests that similar recommendations by the International Atomic Energy Agency and other groups might be worth considering.

The Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with a mission to strengthen global security by reducing the risk of use and preventing the spread of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons and to work to build the trust, transparency, and security that are preconditions to the ultimate fulfillment of the Non-Proliferation Treaty’s goals and ambitions.

  8. Gina McCarthy, Environmental-terrorist (like Sadaam Hussein)

    http www forbes com/ (sites/jeffmcmahon/2013/04/10/epa-draft-stirs-fears-of-radically-relaxed-radiation-guidelines/)

Gina McCarthy, nominee to run the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) oversaw the revision of the Protective Action Guide Manual

The acting EPA director on Friday signed a revised version of the EPA’s Protective Action Guide for radiological incidents, which critics say radically relaxes the safety guidelines agencies follow in the wake of a nuclear-reactor meltdown, dirty-bomb attack, or other unexpected release of radiation.

Although the document is a draft published for public comment, it takes effect as an “interim use” guideline. And according to Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER), that means agencies responding to radiation emergencies may permit many more civilian fatalities.

“In soil, the PAGs allow long-term public exposure to radiation in amounts as high as 2,000 millirems,” PEER advocacy director Kirsten Stade said in a press release. “This would, in effect, increase a longstanding 1 in 10,000 person cancer rate to a rate of 1 in 23 persons exposed over a 30-year period.”

The full draft “PAG Manual” is available here (pdf).

  9. http www naturalnews com/ (031963_radiation_exposure) html

Yes indeed, friends, we have reached a moment of comedic insanity at the EPA, where those in charge of protecting the environment are hastily rewriting the definition of “radioactive contamination” in order to make sure that whatever fallout reaches the United States falls under the new limits of “safe” radiation.

The EPA maintains a set of so-called “Protective Action Guides” (PAGs). These PAGs are being quickly revised to radically increase the allowable levels of iodine-131 (a radioactive isotope) to anywhere from 3,000 to 100,000 times the currently allowable levels.

The group Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) is all over this issue, having obtained internal emails from a FOIA requests that reveal some truly shocking revelations of the level of back-stabbing betrayal happening inside the EPA. For example, under the newly-revised PAGs, drinking just one glass of water considered “safe” by the EPA could subject you to the lifetime limit of radiation.

“In addition,” PEER goes on to say, “it would allow long-term cleanup limits thousands of times more lax than anything EPA has ever before accepted. These new limits would cause a cancer in as much as every fourth person exposed.”

  10. Greens & Watermelons

There are Greens and Watermelons in the various environmental/ecology movements.

The Watermelons are ‘greens’ on the outside, but they are ‘reds’ on the inside. It appears, from their relative silence on Fukushima, that the Watermelons are completely ‘in control’.

It is unclear whether MOST ‘greens’ are FAKE, or they have been duped by the radical socialists and the ‘nuclear-sellouts’. Perhaps a high percentage of the genuine greens are gullible … followers, or they are lazy, or wimps. They continue to ‘sit on their thumbs’ and do little. Certainly they have not ‘taken it to the streets’. They have not ‘occupied’ anything. They have definitely not ‘gotten radical’.

Certainly ‘Green Peace’ has been as vocal and proactive as they could possibly be. So I will certainly give ‘Green Peace’ their due. They ACTUALLY are concerned with the environment.

Most of the rest … well, they certainly appear to be patsies and pawns. IMHO

    Sincerely,

    Bill Duff

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
