Tritium density in groundwater of another boring rapidly increased to be 10 times much as 1 week ago, which is the highest reading from this boring hole.
The boring is also located in the seaside of Reactor 2. The sample was collected on 10/9/2014 as well.
Tritium density was 14,000,000 Bq/m3 on 10/2/2014, however it was 150,000,000 Bq/m3 on 10/9/2014.
Tepco states it can be due to the rainfall of the typhoon. However, there are 34 boring holes on the seaside of Reactor 1 ~4 and the rapid increases of radioactive density were observed in only 3 of them.
