Tokyo citizen “0.42μSv/h in Itabashi ward Tokyo 5/24/2013”

A Tokyo citizen reported he measured the radiation level picking up on 5/24/2013.

Fukushima Diary posts this for the reference of the potential study in the future.

The location is Itabashi ward Tokyo. Measuring time is 9:00 AM, 5/24/2013. The counter is SOEKS.

It was measured beside the opened window on the east side of the room.

It reports the average dose was 0.06 ~ 0.09 μSv/h around the end of last year. It jumped up to be over 4.7 times much.

Le lieu est dans le quartier Itabashi de Tokyo. La mesure a été faite le 24 mai 2013 à 09:00. Le compteur est un SOEKS.
C’est relevé à côté de la fenêtre ouverte, côté Est de la pièce.
Il dit que la dose moyenne était de 0,06 ~ 0,09 μSv/h vers la fin de l’an dernier. C’est monté à plus de 4,7 fois plus.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
