The highly exposed man in Ibaraki died

On 4/4/2013, Fukushima Diary reported “0.60~0.80 μSv/h measured from a man in Ibaraki directly on his body [URL]”

High level of radiation was measured from a man in Hitachi city Ibaraki, where is 100km from Fukushima plant.

He’s been living in Hitachi city Ibaraki for 10 years. He was outside all day when reactors exploded.
After reactor3 exploded on 3/14/2011, he had body ache, diarrhea, vomit, and nosebleed for 1 ~ 2 weeks.
He eats local vegetables and drinks tapwater.

Location : Hitachi city Ibaraki
Back ground : 0.13 μSv/h
On clothes : 0.50 μSv/h ~ 0.60 μSv/h
On body : 0.60 μSv/h ~ 0.80 μSv/h
Tapwater he brought : 0.25 μSv/h (Cs-137 was detected)

 

This man,Mr. Morita died last week. The reason is not announced.

His family member told that to the researcher. The researcher tells this kind of the thing is frequently seen in North part of Ibaraki prefecture.

Le 4 avril 2013, le Fukushima Diary publiait [Ça arrive] De 0,6 à 0,8 μSv/h sur un homme d’Ibaraki directement de son corps :

Un haut niveau de radioactivité a été relevé sur un homme d’Hitachi dans Ibaraki, ville qui se trouve à 100 km de la centrale de Fukushima.

Il vit à Hitachi dans la préfecture d’Ibaraki depuis 10 ans. Il était dehors toute la journée lorsque les réacteurs ont explosé.
Après l’explosion du réacteur 3 le 15 mars 2011, il a eu des douleurs au corps, des diarrhées, des vomissements et des saignements de nez pendant 1 à 2 semaines.
Il consomme des légumes locaux et boit l’eau du robinet.

Bruit de fond : 0,13 μSv/h
Sur les habits : 0,5 à 0,6 μSv/h
Sur le corps : 0,6 à 0,8 μSv/h
Son eau du robinet : 0,25 μSv/h (du Cs 137 a été détecté)

Cet homme, M. Morita, est mort la semaine dernière. La cause n’est pas précisée.

Un membre de sa famille en a averti le chercheur, lequel lui a répondu que ce genre de chose arrivait souvent dans la partie nord de la préfecture d’Ibaraki.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
