According to Kashiwa city Chiba, radioactive incineration ash is transferred to the temporary storage facility of Chiba prefecture. According to Kashiwa city Chiba, 982 Bq/Kg of Cs-134/137 was measured from Shiitake mushroom. It was produced in Kashiwa city Chiba for self-consumption. According to ministry of the environment, 4.4 Bq/Kg of Strontium-90 was measured from Teganuma lake of Kashiwa city Chiba. Strontium-90 is known to cause leukemia. The sampling date was 9/11/2012. Radiation was measured in front of Chiba prefectural Kashiwa high school on 1/20/2013, where is 200km from Fukushima plant, 35km to the center of Tokyo. Kyoto newspaper reported high level of cesium was measured in the soil of Kashiwa Chiba, where is known to be hotspot.
