According to the radiation test of household grocery by Fukushima city government, 9,380 Bq/Kg of cesium was measured from ash for removal of astringent taste. The measurement was done from 1/4 ~ 1/31/2013. On 1/20/2013, Fukushima Diary reported 40,700 Bq/Kg was measured from ash of a household too. Sewage sludge ash in Tokyo contained 3.6 times much cesium as the one in Gunma. It was 10.2 times much as the one in Kanagawa. All the samples were taken late in October. 2012. High level of cesium is measured from sewage sludge ash. Significantly high level of cesium, 16,800 Bq/kg was measured in Tokyo. It’s Kasai sewage plant, Edogawa ku in Tokyo. High level of cesium was measured from human excrement in many forms such as dewatered sludge, incineration ash, and drought sludge etc.. The highest reading was 930 Bq/kg.
