Over 3 times radiation level as background is detected from incense sticks for funeral. A Japanese citizen posted on Twitter on 2/7/2015.

 

From his report, the sample was the incense sticks ash. “Inspector+” detected 0.365 μSv/h above the ash (Photo attached below). The atmospheric dose has never gone over 0.10 μSv/h inside the room.

The poster reported this to a funeral home, who took this problem seriously for the health of the staff.

Un japonais a publié sur Twitter le 7 février 2015 que la radioactivité plus de 3 fois supérieure à celle ambiante a été relevée dans des bâtons d’encens funéraires.

Selon son rapport, l’échantillon est la cendre de bâtons d’encens. L'”Inspector+” a relevé 0,365 μSv/h au-dessus des cendres (Photo ci-dessous). La dose ambiante de la pièce n’a jamais dépassé 0,10 μSv/h.
L’auteur l’a rapporté à l’entreprise funéraire qui a pris le problème au sérieux par rapport à la santé de son personnel.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
