Nuclear disaster headquarters to lift rice planting restriction in 20km area

 

On 3/19/2013, Nuclear disaster headquarters of Prime Minister of Japan and his Cabinet announced to lift the rice planing restriction from Naraha machi, Kawauchi mura, Kawamata machi, Iitate mura, and Minamisoma city of Fukushima.

In these areas, they are going to start the experimental planting to restart the ordinary rice planting in 2013.

In Narahamachi, the restriction of rice planting will be lifted in all the areas including the former evacuation zone of 20km area.

Kawauchi mura has almost 40% of the area in 20km zone, but it’s also lifted including the evacuation zone.

Le QG de la catastrophe nucléaire va lever l’interdiction de planter du riz dans la zone des 20 km

 

Le 19 mars 2013, le QG de la catastrophe nucléaire du premier ministre du Japon et de son cabinet ont annoncé lever l’interdiction de planter du riz dans Naraha machi, Kawauchi mura, Kawamata machi, Iitate mura, et Minamisoma, communes de Fukushima.
Dans ces régions, ils vont lancer des plantations expérimentales pour relancer la production de riz ordinaire en 2013.
A Narahamachi, la restriction sur le riz sera levée dans toutes les zones, y compris l’ancienne zone d’évacuation des 20 km.
Kawauchi mura représente à peu près 40% de ka zone des 20 km zone mais elle est levée aussi y compris la zone d’évacuation.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
