“The carrots that grew in my garden look too abnormal this year ..”

No more details are posted, but from stating “this year”, apparently it hadn’t been like these before.

Not to mention, it has nothing to do with radiation.

“Les carottes qui ont poussé dans mon jardin ont vraiment l’air anormales cette année …”

Japanese citizen Home grown carrots are TOO STRANGE this year

Il n’a publié aucun autre détail mais en disant “cette année”, il semble que ce n’ait pas été le cas les années précédentes.
Il va sans dire que ceci n’a bien sûr aucun rapport avec la radioactivité …

  1. I’m no carrot farmer, but my grandparents used to grow carrots and other vegetables. I’ve never seen any carrots like this… Even “abnormal” ones were considered slightly stumpy, not twisted or doubled up. I wonder how big the harvest was? If it’s just a yard patch, that may mean that this batch of abnormal carrots was quite a large part of an overall small patch.

  2. Long distance

It is a fairly long distance from Tōhoku-chihō to Kansai-chihō. The Fukushima Daiichi witches brew of radionuclides directly deposited; as well as the secondary deposits; from incineration and Yakuza redistribution of nuclear waste; are suspects.

No food from Honshu, the main Japan island, should be considered safe to eat, for at least a century.

    Ugh!

    The usual suspects

  3. ‘Support by Eating’.

The Japanese People historically had a STRONG preference for locally produced food. I have NEVER had a personal, or economic objection to that preference, practice and/or national policy. It is my considered judgement, that radioisotope contamination has rendered Honshu Island grown Japanese food products unsafe. Because radiation damage is CUMULATIVE; the Honshu grown food danger to the Nipponese; FAR exceeds the danger to most other population groups. Honshu Islanders and Chernobyl regional populations should AVOID radionuclide ingestion; with EXTREME efforts.

The Japan Government is strongly encouraging ‘Support by Eating’. Which is STUPID and MURDEROUS. Japan Government efforts; to encourage LOCAL FOOD consumption, via such actions, as currency manipulation and tariffs, are ill advised.

‘Support by Eating’ is an ill considered national policy.

  4. Example: (Again, I do not personally, usually support this type of USA TRADE-Deal pressure on Japan.) However, the ‘Support by Eating’, SPECIAL pressure; IS KILLING and MAIMING Japanese children. This personal concern, is specifically NOT, ‘about the money’. I think Japanese should import LOW-radioisotope food from South America and Australia; NOT the USA.

Urgent Action Needed: U.S. agricultural products at risk in major trade deal Japan is holding a multi-national free trade agreement hostage with tariff demands. If Japan get this special treatment then US agriculture and hundreds of thousands of affiliated US jobs will take a major hit. Leaders in the US House of Representatives want to put a stop to this and are circulating a letter on Capitol Hill that is addressed to President Obama, urging him to sign the trade agreement without Japan unless they agree to zero tariffs on all products. To protect US agriculture and farmers, your Member of Congress needs to sign on to this letter. Please take this simple but big step to get your Representative to sign the letter. Tell Congress to keep Japanese tariffs out of TPP.

  5. Exchange Rate

The Japanese Yen to USA Dollar exchange rate is now about 100 to 1. This Japanese monetary policy makes purchase of USA foods more costly to the Japanese Customer, than when the Yen/Dollar exchange was 80/1. But the lowest radionuclide level foods, WHATEVER their origins, are BEST for the Japanese children. Japanese children should not eat foods grown within 100 miles of a nuclear power plant, nuclear disposal site and/or atomic blast site.

Zero Radio-Cesium and Zero Radio-Strontium should be the Prime Mission of Japanese mothers; IMHPO.

  6. Since 2011 it was recommended to not eating any food grown in Japan. Novel diseases are predicted, much suffering, genetic mutations, contamination of groundwater. As there is no means stopping this monstruous disaster, all you have to do : leave Japan urgently !

    1. Radiation Health Damage is cumulative

Japan consumers have received HEAVY lifetime radiation contamination internal doses. Therefore, they should import their food from the Southern Hemisphere and AVOID USA and Canada foods as well as their locally produced nasty hog-slop.

Particularly for the diets of children and women of child bearing age.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
