Governmental financial support for Tepco summed up to 6 Trillion yen

On 9/28/2015, Tepco announced they are going to receive the 44th financial support from the government of Japan. The announcement is not released in English.

The received value is 412 Billion yen (411,800,000,000 yen) from NDF (the Nuclear Damage Compensation and Decommissioning Facilitation Corporation).

Tepco had already received 5.3 Trillion yen (5,323,200,000,000 yen) of financial support but it cannot cover the total compensation amount to pay by the end of this October.

By summing up the newly received 412 Billion yen, the total financial support goes up to 5.7 Trillion yen.

It is not clear if Tepco plans or ever they can refund all the financial supports.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
