[Column] Paradoxical harmony

23:48.

Another day is ending.
Physically, can’t post anymore for today.

Room lights are turned off, bugs are coming from the window and flying around the screen.
I want to squash them all and just sleep in peace. This is all I want to do. I never forget that day.

Can hear baby crying, people chatting, and singing. I hope their peace will last forever.

Will my words squash all the bugs?
Everyday I realize various limits of my capacity. Physical limit, linguistic ability, and I have only 24 hours a day. Just my soul tries to go ahead.

In my high school, a teacher used to say this is the proof that you are trying to move on.
I hope so.

My work is writing, not reading. I can’t force anyone to read my posts.
I want my posts to be read as carefully as I wrote, and by as many people as possible. Hopefully more than now.
All I could do is only to make it as simple, accurate and easy to understand as possible.
I believe “something” would spread my words properly, which is the same thing as the one to bring us the miracle harmony of human lives -baby’s crying, people’s chatting and singing outside-, not the same thing as the one to tell us war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength, and nuke is safe.

[Édito] harmonie paradoxale

23:48.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
