The camera guy showed himself up and explained why he did that.

“Begging” for Tepco not to punish his ex employer,he criticizes their labor environment.

He was a temporary worker for one of the sub contract companies under Tepco.

I looked into the exif data of those pictures attached, but all the data were deleted.

The only info I managed to obtain was

The IP is 125.100.100.19
Web host is Samurai Factory Inc.
ISP is U’s Communications Corp.

He spends most of the space on “begging and apologizing”,and does not mention how it is in the plant site (cracks, radioactive steam etc..)

He criticizes the poor labor environment and manipulation of the working contract etc..

However,it doesn’t seem like that is what he wanted to take the risk of being thrown into the reactor for.

It sounds like he criticizes “U S” to treat them (and HIM) as heros.

He carefully planned the whole thing just to point his finger toward the camera in short.

It was nothing but his philosophical message.

From his way of writing Japanese,he sounds like early/mid twenties with ok education.

He sounds very scared of having attention from “the society”,using terms and phrases that he is not used to speaking not to be “told off by adults”.

From the way of taking pictures with random digits written on paper,he is familiar to Japanese internet society, such as 2ch.

His plan was aimed at his fellows and people who treat nuc workers like hero.

More than half of his pictures are the prayers and the messages to cheer the workers up.

I assume he wanted to explain they are symbolic to show we think the nuc workers to be people in a movie.

I can’t help saying,”so what ?”

I personally wanted him to take pictures of the plants around the site, data, nuc buildings and row survey data etc..

but his attempt shows, everyone could do it because even he managed to do.

In that meaning, his achievement is as meaningful as the “discovery” of Christopher Columbus.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
