8 quakes hit Tokara islands within an hour on 3rd Feb

According to JMA (Japan Meteorological Agency), 8 earthquakes happened near Tokara islands within only 1 hour on 2/3/2016.

Tokara islands are South West offshore of the main land of Japan.

From JMA’s report, after the first quake occurred at 6:46 of 2/3/2016 (JMA), 7 quakes followed only with 2 ~ 20 minutes intervals until 7:48. Magnitude was from 2.0 to 2.9.

The depth of epicenter was reportedly “very shallow”.

Another quake was observed in the night of 2/6/2016 at the same location.

Selon la JMA (Japan Meteorological Agency), 8 séismes se sont produits près des îles Tokara en 1 heure seulement le 3 février 2016.
Les îles Tokara sont au sud-ouest au large du Japon.
Selon le rapport de la JMA, ce 2 février, après un premier séisme à 6:46 (JMA), 7 autres ont suivi, séparés de 2 à 20 minutes d’écart et jusqu’à 7:48. Les magnitude s’étagent entre 2,0 et 2,9.
La profondeur des épicentres est dite “très superficielle”.
Un autre séisme a été observé au même endroit dans la nuit du 6 février 2016.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
