MOE, “Small animals in hazard area may have the problem with fecundity even in the ICRP standard”

 

According to MOE (Ministry of the Environment), some of the small animals in the hazard area are contaminated adequate to have the problem with fecundity even in ICRP standard.
It was reported on 3/14/2013.

The samples are rose bitterling, carassius langsdorfii, loach in Futaba machi and two kinds of mice in Ohkuma machi and Namie machi.

Selon le MOE (Ministère de l’Environnement), certains petits animaux de la région dangereuse sont assez contaminés pour avoir des problèmes de fécondité même si dans le standard ICRP.
Ceci a été rapporté le 14 mars 2013.

Les échantillons sont des poissons d’eau douce, bouvières (Rhodeus ocellatus), cyprins dorés (Carassius langsdorfii) et loches de Futaba machi, plus deux sortes de souris d’Ohkuma machi et Namie machi.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
